Your program is far ahead of anything I have found or heard of in the field of Forex Trading for the private trader. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in entering the forex market.
- Retail FX Trader, Pretoria
Any level of initial competency
- 100% beginner with no financial market experience at all
Academic credentials like a degree in economics, statistics or accountancy or anything else are irrelevant. You don't need to have done any trading or financial market courses before.
What you need is an interest in trading and a strong desire to succeed on the path you start. And you must see it as a journey. Think in terms of years, not months, weeks or days. I cannot teach you how to become rich overnight. If that is what you want, DayForex Training is not for you.
- Novice Trader (Scalper / day / swing / position trader)
You probably have a working knowledge of some technical analysis studies / systems or possibly news trading. This may include all the usual stuff including "money management" and "trading psychology".
This program is for you. You have important experience of what doesn't work (not only not for you) the 100% beginner doesn't have. You will need to make a big mindshift about some of the things you were taught as trading gospel, but you'll manage it.
- Struggling trader (Scalper / day / swing / position trader)
You have been around the block, done some courses, tries this and that and something else. But the bottomline is that you are not making progress. You are frustraded because just as you think "AHA, now I have figured it out!" the market rolls you over again.
This program is for you. We can declutter your mind, put things in context, make the necessary paradigm shift and a whole new window on trading will open up for you.
- Mainly interested in automation (Expert Advisor) (Scalper / day / swing / position trader)
We are not coders or programmers but as you very well know by now: You must first have a working forex trading system before you can code it. Coding doesn't give an edge. What you need is an edge that can be coded.
This program is for you. You will learn about the intracacies of price action and a different way to consider exploiting it via automated trading strategies.
- On the verge of giving up. Last roll of the dice. (Scalper / day / swing / position trader)
You have been there, seen it, tried it, done it. You have done multiple courses, refunded multiple (hopefully small) accounts. Nothing works for you. But you want to give it a last go.
This program is for you. We will change your mindset, give you hope and guide you towards a new beginning.
Choose your level of engagement
Getting started: Bird Watching in Lion Country - Forex Trading Explained (2013)
BWILC is an ebook, but it is not one of the "free gift" 30 page lead magnet type ebooks! It is an ebook because it was only published in PDF format.
I wrote it back in 2003/4 with the purpose to prepare mentoring clients for the mentoring program.
We were just not on the same page and I needed something to get people to understand there is a whole different approach to trading than whatever they have been taught or what they have tried. That is even more so today (2016).
"EBook with a difference"
Because it is so comprehensive (300+ pages) many preferred to refer to it as "a course". Let's settle on "textbook in ebook format". It is the textbook I use in the other levels of the training program.
But over the years many traders found that their level of experience with what "doesn't work for them" was good enough to recognize the simplicity and power of the 4x1 + 1 (four-by-one-plus-one) strategy and apply it without the need for further engagement.

"It could be all you need"
Making a serious effort: SloGroPro Training Programme
Find everything you need to know about the SloGroPro Trading Course here!
"SloGroPro" is not "wasting time"
- Trading takes more effort - which might include time - than one thinks. It differs from person to person. The SloGroPro program is designed and offered to counter the "hurry up and lose quickly" paradigm promoted by forex brokers with their 30 day demo accounts, deposit bonuses (dependent on huge trading volume in a short time) and general impression that your first million with 500:1 leverage on your $200 account is just around the corner.
Short term trading is luck dominated on the luck <--> skill continuum. That means you need to follow a process over a suitable time period in order to smooth the unpredictable short-term results of whatever you do.
"SloGroPro" is "focused on what matters most"
- The SloGroPro Training Programme is based on BWILC and develops and explains all the concepts most relevant to trading an own account according to the BWILC principles in a course of more than 20 trading lessons.
Lessons consist of explanations and clarifications of content referenced in BWILC. There are also tasks to be completed for evaluation and feedback.
Simultaneously we introduce the concepts "real-time" and "relational" analysis. This is my take on "fundamental analysis", which is absolutely indispensable if you want to trade currencies successful.
The SGP program includes 12 months of relational analysis briefings and access to my relational analysis discussion forum.
Going all in: Personal Mentoring Programme
Screen trading is very impersonal and lonely. "Social trading" (where you add the crowd noise of social media) sounds great but it is not even closely what it is cracked up to be. It is wholly unsuitable for someone in a learning and exploration phase of trading.
Believe me, you need less not more.
The key to success is to engage with someone who can guide and lead you as an individual with your own situation, history, aspirations and challenges on a proven process to become the trader you can and want to be.
There is not something like "mass mentoring".
Mentoring is a process for the informal transmission of knowledge, social capital, and the psychosocial support perceived by the recipient as relevant to work, career, or professional development; mentoring entails informal communication, during a sustained period of time, between a person who is perceived to have greater relevant knowledge, wisdom, or experience (the mentor) and a person who is perceived to have less (the protégé)".
By going all in you commit to a suitable period of time to reach your forex trading goals through not only informal transmission of knowledge as in the definition above but based on a structured growth and development programme with evaluation and feedback on an ongoing basis and when you need it most.
The DayForex Personal Mentoring Programme focuses on the all important aspect of "process" to succeed in the difficult environment of forex trading which is a luck dominated activity.
The Personal Mentoring Program (Class of 2016) includes both other levels of commitment in principle and practice. BWILC, SloGroPro lessons and relational analysis briefings and forums are all included.
